Aireys Inlet Uniting Church congregation is a group of
Regular worshippers who live in Aireys Inlet or surrounds
Visitors who have holiday homes in the area and worship with us when they are on the coast - (we call them “swallows”)
Other visitors, many from interstate and overseas who enrich our fellowship from time to time
On the first Friday of the month we join with members of the community for Coffee and Chat, starting around 10 AM. We have a delightful time catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. All are welcome to come for a cuppa and some fellowship. Please feel free to join us.
Our Mission Statement
Coffee and Chat
Held on the first Friday of every month starting around 10am, except January. A time of enjoyable conversation and friendship over morning tea. A warm welcome guaranteed.
The Aireys Inlet Combined Churches run a Community Carols event in the first week in December. This features a pageant performed by the students of the Aireys Inlet Primary School.
Several times a year, congregation members gather for lunch after church in one of our homes.
These gatherings provide a valuable opportunity for congregation members to socialise in a more meaningful way than is possible just on a Sunday morning. The food and fellowship is always wonderful.
Four times a year, a daytime outing is arranged to the nearby Waterlands Cinema, where recent release and classic films are screened.
This Uniting-wide event is held at the Aireys Inlet Community hall annually on Shrove Tuesday.
An event held annually at the Anglesea Golf Club. Individuals with a high profile in their field are invited to speak on a subject of significance and high interest to the community.
Several members of our congregation love to work creatively with flower arrangements to artistically depict a Bible reading of the day.
