The story of a Reed Organ

This organ was presented to the Anglesea Presbyterian Church on the 14th. January 1917 by Mrs. Mawson, in memory of Private Charles lyle Young, who had been killed in 1915 in Gallipoli.

Charles Young had been engaged to Mrs. Mawson’s daughter Ivy Ruth Morrison, daughter of Presbyterian minister Rev. Hatton, donated this organ to the museum 100 years later in 2017.
